The HCKH is localized at the 3rd floor of the Campus Research I Building at the University Medical Center Hamburg Eppendorf. The campus research building combines and centralizes most modern laboratories, techniques, infrastructure, scientists and research at the UKE. As a central meeting area of leading UKR scientists this place facilitates the informal exchange of ideas and concepts between researchers and up to 13 core facilities offer access to broad range of technologies, equipment and state-of-the-art methods.

In 2023 the HCKH is planned to move into the newly build Campus Research II and Hamburg Center for Translational Immunology (HCTI). This new building will represent a nationally and internationally leading research facility with several novel core facilities and most advanced technological platforms.
