This study, which was conducted in the Laboratory for Glomerular Biology and Transplantation Medicine and in the Laboratory for Molecular and Translational Nephrology, identifies P3H2 as the first major regulator of the glomerular basement membrane, providing molecular insights into renal filtration barrier physiology and pathobiology.
